Welcome, my friend. I am so glad you are here.
For Shannon Carroll, holistic wellness is rooted in a strong foundation of faith. As a Christian dedicated to guiding women toward physical, mental, and spiritual health, she believes that true wellness is only possible with God at the center.
Shannon’s journey into health and wellness began at age 12 during a medical mission trip to Kenya. Inspired by her experiences, she initially aspired to be a missionary obstetrician. Though her path evolved, her dedication to health remained steadfast. Shannon became a Registered Nurse, specializing in community health, and earned her Faith Community Nurses’ certification to improve health outcomes within her rural church, where her husband pastors.
Shannon’s focus on holistic wellness intensified when her young sons faced frequent illnesses and deepened in 2019 when her husband, David, endured a 26-day amnesic episode attributed to stress. This crisis became transformative, inspiring their book One Thing Remains, which shares their story and lessons learned. She has since created a 7-week companion Bible study for churches, small groups, and individuals to explore their journey of faith and resilience.
Today, Shannon’s speaking and writing ministry helps women connect with God through Bible-based teachings. She has also co-founded Broken & Beautiful Retreat, LLC with Stephanie Feger, a fellow Christian author. Their collaboration has produced their first co-authored book, Women of Redemption: Motherhood Wisdom from 8 Biblical Mothers.
